I usually recommend Hot Stone Massage during colder months and Cold Stone Massage during hot summer months for a better balance, unless the client suffers from a certain medical condition or injury. I love working with stones for their ability to emanate raw natural energy which they would have absorbed at the time when they were created as well as from their natural locations (rivers, seas, oceans, ground). Some stones have been shaped ergonomically and assist me in targeting the tight points that are normally hard to reach by bare hands.
