K-Taping

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology Taping or K-Taping is a therapeutic tool developed by Japanese chiropractor Dr. Kenzo Kase in the 1970s

and became popular after being used on athletes in the 2008 Olympic Games.

K-Taping is used to support weak muscles, normalise muscular function, posture control, reduction of bruising or swelling, contusions, sprains & strains. It relieves pain and aids recovery. K–Taping can be used in addition to Sports Massage Therapy treatments or on its own.

Conditions like Ankle Inversion Sprain, Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendinopathy, Anterior Compartment Syndrome, ACL / knee support, Jumper’s Knee, Patellar Dislocation, Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, ITB Syndrome / Runner’s Knee Syndrome, MCL Sprain, Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome (MTSS), Hamstring Strain / Contusion can greatly benefit from K-taping as this will speed up the injury repair process.

Kinesiology tape can be partially or fully water-resistant, hypoallergenic and color can be thoughtfully chosen according to your sports requirements, preference, or lifestyle.
